Second semester begins with a unit on forests and forestry. National Forest packets are already arriving, dozens, for projects later this month. The unit will include studies of temperate rainforests and our own Ozark forest. 3 outdoor labs will test students' skills at measuring trees in a timber crew simulation.
The Winter Lodge Trip is Jan. 14-15. All students should get payment of 70$ to Mr. Tomey ASAP.
60 Action Points are required each quarter. For third quarter, the due dates will be:
Mon, Feb. 13 (first 30 points minimum)
Mon, Mar. 12 (second 30 points)
So far I like the movie were watching. I like having a variety of learning and not just taking notes everyday. It's a good way to mix things up in the classroom. I think Erin will end up winning the case and helping out the family and herself.
