Biology- B

February is rolling along a bit warm outside, microscope week has ended, and we are working Cell Processes inside!  Students have been mastering Photosynthesis in Plants and Cell Respiration.

Most work is being done in class, HOWEVER, students are encouraged to study their notes or the textbook 10-15 minutes each night to help memorize this technical content in Biology.

Next week we will cover mitosis / cell division with yarn, drawings, and more microscope work.

*** Students will also be learning a great deal about Cancer and Stem Cells- very current science!!

  1. I felt the test was fair, and i enjoyed using the yarn to show the phases of Mitosis, helped us see it visually better. The thing i liked the most is using the microscopes to see things that i never seen before. :) -Rula
